Grow your leadership
Weekly discussions on instructional leadership, teacher evaluation, difficult conversations, career moves, and AI in education.
The national community for women in educational leadership
Rise · Lift · Lead
For principals, district leaders, superintendents — and every woman rising toward the role. Exceptional leadership and a healthy, happy life. You shouldn't have to choose.
Why we exist
Women lead classrooms, campuses and districts across America — and too many do it alone, running on empty. Summit & Soul develops the leader and restores the woman, in equal measure.
Professional associations sharpen your resume. Wellness retreats ignore your career. We were built to do both, beautifully.
Executive development, coaching, masterminds, and honest conversation about evaluation, strategy, AI, and the real work of leading schools.
Burnout prevention, reflection, journaling, and permission to rest — because excellence without exhaustion is a leadership skill.
Retreats and gatherings in America's most beautiful places. Mountains, lakes, campfires — nature is our methodology.
You will never lead alone again.
The Summit & Soul promise
Our story
Twenty-five years inside American education. Summit & Soul was founded by a career educator — teacher, instructional coach, district leader, assistant superintendent, principal.
In every role she saw the same quiet pattern: the most gifted women leaders were carrying entire schools on their backs and keeping nothing for themselves. They could turn around a struggling campus but couldn't remember their last real vacation. They coached everyone and were coached by no one. They led hundreds of people and felt profoundly alone.
So she built the community she couldn't find.
Mission
To help women in educational leadership become exceptional leaders — and healthier, happier human beings — through community, coaching, wellness and adventure.
What we believe
The principal and the person are one woman. We develop both, always.
We climb roped together — every member's rise creates a handhold for the next.
Burnout is not a badge of honour; it's a leadership failure we help women reverse.
Mountains, trails, water and campfires aren't scenery — they're the methodology.
Adventure is a leadership practice. We do hard, beautiful things.
Titles change; purpose endures — aspiring, serving, transitioning or retired.
We embrace what's next in education — including AI — with wisdom and humanity.
